Regional Sourcing Specialist
Conditions:
  • Temporary employment (18 months going into perm employment) with 3-month trial period.

To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • The ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously. Effective problem identification and solution skills. Proven analytical and organizational ability.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to fluently communicate in English.
You will be responsible for:
  • Manage supplier scouting process, including suppliers’ preselection for RFQ/Feasibility and NDA process.
  • Manage RFQ/Feasibility process for Eastern European (EE) suppliers, including data/spec collection, RFQ distribution, expediting, minor issue solving with Baker Hughes Product
  • Companies (PCs) stakeholders and final reports preparation.
  • Facilitate communications and support PCs stakeholders in EE supplier selection.
  • Detects and signals flaws in approaches, methods, procedures and processes and report to EE regional team for improvement planning and execution.
  • Handles EE activity reports preparation and communication with regional and PCs teams and the business about data gathering and analysis.
  • KPIs and Data Analytics - run regular, regional reports and gap analysis.
  • Contributes to regional projects as a team member and leads small projects.
  • Support other cross-business cost optimization and cash initiatives, i.e. suppliers’ payment term improvements.
  • Support Vendor Add and Management process for direct material EE vendors (suppliers’ registration in HICX and ERP systems)
